Cemeteries and crematoria serving the Finsbury Park area

Anyone can be cremated or buried in any cemetery or crematorium in the country. So although we’re Finsbury Park funeral directors, we organise funerals across all the London boroughs and further afield too.

But if the person who has died lives in the Finsbury Park area, most families usually choose somewhere local when it comes to arranging the funeral. That’s because there will probably be ties to the area, or a family member is already buried or interned there, and, of course, there is often the benefit of reduced rates for local residents.

Cemeteries and crematoria for Finsbury Park include:

Islington and St Pancras Cemetery
Although situated in East Finchley in the London Borough of Barnet, Islington and St Pancras Cemetery is actually owned and managed by two other London boroughs: Islington and Camden. Established in 1854, the cemetery was London’s first publicly owned cemetery and one of the Capital’s largest too. The cemetery has several chapels including the St Pancras Anglican chapel, which is Grade ll listed. Vault burials, and traditional and lawn graves are available as well as a woodland burial area.
