Cremation & Burial

Whether you choose a burial or cremation funeral, it’s an opportunity to say goodbye to the person who’s died in a personal and respectful way, and in a manner that reflects their final wishes.

Every funeral is overseen by our team of caring and experienced professionals, who ensure every cremation and every burial is personalised, carefully curated and feels ‘right’.

One of the biggest choices to make is whether you want a cremation, burial, or natural burial for the final step of the funeral.

We have tried to expand the way these take place - you can of course hold a service in a crematorium or a church, but we can also help you select a wider choice of venue.

Sam Gage, Funeral Director

“We’re often asked about the cost of a cremation funeral compared to the cost of a burial. We’ll talk you through all the options available to you, so you can make an informed choice based on personal preferences, beliefs, and means.”

— Sam Gage, funeral director

  • “From start to finish the staff at Exit Here were extremely professional, very helpful, understanding and took care of our father as if he were their own family. The parlour itself is very bright and welcoming, which reflected in the warm reception we received upon first arrival. We could not have asked for a more helpful and painless experience in a very stressful time. Thank you.”

    — Keith Toulson

  • “It is hard to express how much I am grateful to Sam and Patrick for how much they helped me and my mum after my grandma passed away. We were absolutely distraught, and Sam helped to keep us calm and help us with all the arrangements in the most sensitive and helpful way that I can imagine. I will always be so grateful for everything, and their help means so much to me and my mum. Thank you so much.”

    — Tanya Dolan

  • “From the moment we walked into Exit Here we knew we were in the right place. Sam and Oliver gave us great advice and support when we really needed it and helped us to create a very special event. The celebrant who they recommended to us was perfect and my wife's funeral was an inspiration to many of the people there, and even life-changing in some cases. Weeks after her funeral they're still giving help and support. I cannot recommend their services highly enough.”

    — Mike Perry

  • “Before my mother's passing we didn't know what we should expect from funeral directors. Oliver and his crew set the bar high, and with great ethos. We felt looked after, and it helped us to know their support was always there if needed. The funeral was beautiful - we all came away with a feeling that it was a perfectly befitting way to remember Mum and to say our goodbyes one last time.”

    — Suko Yoshimi

  • “I first used their services last year when my dad passed away. They were caring and compassionate and really supported our family during this very difficult time. When my mum passed away at home a few months ago, there was no other company that I would have used. Sam and Oliver were fantastic, they took care of everything, from collecting my mum, arranging the church service and then the repatriation of her body for burial abroad. The care and support they provided was excellent and enabled me to give both my parents beautiful, personalised send offs.”
