Funeral Directors Archway

We’re an independent funeral director in Archway, offering funeral services built on choice, compassion and value. We guide you through every step of the funeral planning journey, with a belief that everyone deserves a ‘good’ funeral as individual and as memorable as they are.

Funeral reception venues in or around Archway

The funeral reception is as an important of the day, as it gives guests an opportunity to meet with friends and family members after the service, share memories and stories, and celebrate a life well lived.

Whether you hold the funeral reception at a local pub or a favourite restaurant, or you opt for a gathering at home, we help you plan every aspect of the occasion including the menu, music, flowers and invitations.

Cemeteries and crematoria serving the Archway area

Although we’re Archway funeral directors, we organise funerals across all the London boroughs and further afield too. In fact, anyone can be cremated or buried in any cemetery or crematorium in the country.

But if the person who has died lives in the Archway area and is a London Borough of Islington resident, most families or friends who are arranging the funeral usually choose somewhere local. And that’s because there will probably be ties to the area, or a family member is already buried or interned there.  And, of course, there is often the benefit of reduced rates for Islington residents.

Cemeteries and crematoria for Archway include:

Islington and St Pancras Cemetery
Although situated in East Finchley in the London Borough of Barnet, Islington and St Pancras Cemetery is actually owned and managed by two other London boroughs: Islington and Camden.

Established in 1854, the cemetery was London’s first publicly owned cemetery and one of the Capital’s largest too. The cemetery has several chapels including the St Pancras Anglican chapel, which is Grade ll listed. Vault burials, and traditional and lawn graves are available, as well as a woodland burial area.
